FAQs:

What are the workshop aims?

• Confidence • Coordination • Creativity • Calm

Who can take part?

I specialise in supporting people with anxiety, disabilities and dementia but anyone over the age of 8 is very welcome to take part. Please be aware that some workshops involve working with a sewing machine, glue gun or glass so will not be appropriate for everyone. I am happy to discuss your requirements, offer alternatives and adjust accordingy.

Where do the workshops take place?

In the comfort of your own home or care setting. I primarily work in Nottingham but will travel to Derbyshire and Leicestershire for longer sessions or contracts, where extra travel charges may apply.

What kind of bookings are available?

I offer one-off sessions, regular and block bookings. Weekly, fortnightly and monthly bookings are available at a discounted rate. Contracts with care homes, hospices and

after-school clubs are also welcomed.

What do I need to provide?

All you need to do is ensure there is a suitable table and a comfortable space to work in.

I will provide all the materials, resources of inspiration and clean any messy things at home.

It's best if you wear clothes you don't mind potentially getting mucky. Alternatively, you can

bring your own apron to protect your clothes. I will provide gloves for relevant workshops.

Do I need to be good at crafts to be able to take part?

Absolutely not! You don't need any experience to enjoy getting creative and trying something new. If you are brand new to crafts, a one-to-one session or small group will suit you best.
