What are the workshop aims?

• Confidence • Coordination • Creativity • Calm

Who can take part?

Anyone above the age of 8, regardless of ability.

Some workshops involve a sewing machine, glue gun or glass so will not be suitable for everyone.

I am happy to discuss your needs, offer alternatives and adjust accordingly.

Where do they take place?

In the comfort of your own home or care setting. I live in Melton Mowbray so primarily serve Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.

I am willing to travel further for longer sessions or contracts, where extra travel charges may apply.

What bookings are available?

I offer one-off sessions, regular and block bookings. Weekly and fortnightly bookings are available at a discounted rate.

Contracts with care homes, hospices are welcomed.

What do I need to provide?

All you need to do is ensure there is a suitable table and comfortable space to work in.

It's best if you wear clothes you don't mind potentially getting mucky.
You could also wear an apron.

Materials and resources of inspiration are provided. I will provide latex-free gloves where appropriate and clean any messy things at home; except printing screens which will need to be rinsed, preferably using an outdoor tap or hose.

Do I need to be good at Arts and Crafts?

Absolutely not! You don't need any experience to enjoy getting creative or trying something different. If you are brand new to crafts, a one-to-one session or small group workshop will suit you best.

EXTRA SUPPORT FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES & DEMENTIA

I want arts and crafts to be accessible for all!

I have been a carer for over six years, so I pride myself on having patience and understanding for each individual's needs, strengths and weaknesses.

One-to-one sessions are best suited for people with anxiety, disabilities or dementia. They are also the best way to get the most out of your creative time, as you will solely have my attention. However, small groups also work very well.

I am happy for additional carers or staff to be present if needed, and to discuss ways to adapt my sessions and workshops, in order to make them more fun and accessible for everyone.

We can organise a free consultation to ease any anxieties and so I can find out more about what makes you unique, so I can plan accordingly.

When you book with me, I will recognise your disabilities but never underestimate your possibilities!
